Dear Women of Trinity,
As our 2014-15 year of Women’s Ministry has reached its end, we just want to tell you again how much we love growing and worshiping and serving with such wonderful godly women as you.
It has been a rich year of study in Genesis for Bible study and we trust that those of you who were able to join us have had your view of God greatly enlarged and your love for him deepened—just as we have. He is the majestic God of creation…and also our personal loving, sovereign Lord. Our last week at Bible study is always a fun celebration of the year and this year was no exception. Click Here to see some great pictures. (In case you’re puzzled by the pictures: we don’t normally wear aprons to Bible study, but it was just a way of honoring the fact that you are women who minister to others in a big way. And aprons were just a fun visual of that fact!)
For TMOMs we finished up a great year of coming together for interesting parenting-related speakers, fun fellowship, discussion and prayer, and crafts. What a looked-forward-to morning of dropping kids off to play and learn in our quality childcare program and then coming on over for a morning of adult interaction. We had a fun last session of TMOMs, too, but forgot to take pictures. Phooey.
It’s not too late to RSVP for Summer Solitude. This is a purposeful time for those who want to unplug from the noise around you to focus on God’s presence through the journaling and memorization of Scripture. Click Here for the times and dates of this unique offering. It’s free and childcare is provided. We just need to know you’re coming.
TRINITY HOME ENRICHMENT COOPERATIVE (THE Co-op)
On Wednesday, June 10, at 7:00 pm in the Fireside Room, THE Co-op will hold an informational meeting for those interested in participating next year. This is a program to help home-educating parents supplement the education of kindergarten through 5th grade children by providing God-centered classes and enrichment activities. Click Here for more information.
This ministry where women come together to sew and create items that support missions and those in need is continuing through the summer. So if you would like to use your skills to serve others in this way, Click Here to get more information. They are just finishing a big year of creating an amazing number of items and they would love to have you join them.
And don’t forget that there’s always a friendly face at the Women’s kiosk on The Plaza after first and second services. Come on by…we’d love to greet you and tell you more about women’s ministry at Trinity.
In His great name,
Donna and Wendy
