January 7, 2015
Dear Women of Trinity,
January 2015. It just sounds like “fresh beginnings,” doesn’t it? So…are you a new year’s resolution maker? Do you think through things you’d like to improve in the new year? Perhaps things like:
De-clutter my house
Get more sleep
Create a budget and follow it
These are great goals—ones we’ve both had. But, like many of you, we want to think beyond these goals to those that gradually make us more like Christ…goals that bring pleasure and glory to our great God. Goals like:
Spend alone time each day with God
Pray more for those in my life who don’t know Him
Feast on His Word daily no matter how short a time
Share the gospel more boldly
Guard my mind from ungodly input
The two of us want these things to be true of our lives and we trust that you do too. So many women over the years have told us that being a part of a group Bible study has been vitally important to their walks with God, and we so agree. We’d like to invite you to join us in women’s Bible study. You’ll enjoy fellowship with some wonderful women, food, worship, teaching, and small group interaction and prayer. For cost and other information, Click Here. You can register online, at the Women’s Kiosk on Sundays, or at the study.
Monday nights, beginning January 12
Wednesday mornings, beginning January 14
We’d also like to remind you of TMOMs, our great program for expectant mothers and mothers of newborns to 5-year-olds. Come enjoy a light breakfast, interesting speakers, and stimulating table discussions with other moms and mentors who have been in your shoes. A break for mom, a fun morning out for the kids! We meet every other Friday morning beginning January 16. For cost and more information, Click Here.
For either Bible study or TMOMs, please let us know if you need help with the cost…we don’t want that to ever be a hindrance for anyone to be able to come.
So let’s begin 2015 together with our goals being that of the apostle Paul in Philippians 3:13-14:
“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward
what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize
for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
In His great name,
Donna and Wendy
