Dear Women of Trinity,
Summer greetings to you in the name of our wonderful Lord Jesus. We have missed our regular gatherings with you but trust you have had a good summer.
Did you see the “super moon” this weekend? Wasn’t it amazing? And isn’t the God who created it amazing? As we’ve been reading Genesis this summer, it reminded us of Genesis 1: 16-18:
“And God made the two great lights—
The greater light to rule the day
And the lesser light to rule the night—
And the stars.
And God set them in the expanse of the heavens
To give light to the earth,
to rule over the day and over the night,
And to separate the light from the darkness.
And God saw that it was good.
These are some of the incredible creation verses we will begin with in Bible study this year as we study the book of Genesis. And then we’ll quickly enter the story of human history with Adam and Eve…all the way through Joseph. The people we meet in Genesis are ordinary people through whom God does extraordinary things. Let’s meet them together this year and learn from their lives.
Come join us for Bible study on Monday nights or Wednesday mornings (beginning September 8 and 10)–a time of fellowship, food, worship, studying God’s Word, and prayer. Registration for fall semester is $40, begins this Sunday, August 17 and is available online Click Here, at the women’s kiosk on Sundays, or at the Bible study. Childcare is provided.
And for those of you with little ones, we would so love to have you join us in TMOMs (Trinity Mothers of Munchkins) this year. We have such a fun morning together every other Friday. While your little one is having a great time with our wonderful childcare workers, you are enjoying adult conversation (yea!) with other moms, a delicious brunch, devotions and interesting speakers. We also plan many fun outings during the year for you and your child (like park days, fire station tours, children’s museums). A group like TMOMs is one of the best ways to meet other moms and enjoy this wonderful journey of parenting together. For cost and other information or to register, Click Here or come to the women’s kiosk on Sundays.
May we remind you, too, to continue praying for Trinity’s pastor search process…for our elders who are working hard on this important job and for the man who will eventually be coming to be our senior pastor.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
In His great name,
Donna and Wendy
